1. HCY™ Taq DNA Polymerase Kit (E0060K101)

HCY™ Taq DNA Polymerase is a thermostable DNA polymerase from Thermus aquaticus with

specially engineered for higher robustness and sensitivity than wild-type Taq,with a molecular weight

of 106 kDa. This enzyme exhibits the 5’→ 3′ DNA polymerase and 5’→ 3′ exonuclease activities, lacks

the3’→ 5′ exonuclease activities.The resulting PCR product can be cloned directly into a T-vector (TA

cloning) due to the addition of an adenosine (A) to the 3′ end.

Main Applications

  • Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR): This is one of the most common applications. In PCR reactions, DNA polymerase kits provide thermostable DNA polymerases, such as Taq DNA polymerase. They can catalyze DNA synthesis at high temperatures. Using the target DNA as a template and guided by primers, deoxynucleotides are added one by one to the newly synthesized DNA strand, achieving exponential amplification of DNA fragments.   • cDNA Synthesis: After reverse transcription reactions, the DNA polymerase in the DNA polymerase kit is used to synthesize complementary DNA (cDNA) using mRNA as a template. This is very important for studying gene expression and constructing cDNA libraries.
