Stool Collection and Preservation Tube

Normal stool consists of food debris, digestive secretions, bacteria, and water. Stool testing is useful for evaluating the function of a patient’s digestive system and assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Stool collection tubes provide rapid sample acquisition, easy transportation, long term room temperature storage, and assurance of sample DNA integrity.

1. Stool Collection and Preservation Tubes:

Stool Collection and Preservation Tubes are designed for rapid preservation of nucleic acids from fresh stool specimens.
The tubes contain fecal preservative in liquid form.
The user simply collects the feces into the tube (filling to the line indicated in the label) and gently mixes until the feces is fully submerged.

Easy fecal collection procedure:
1 Use a collection spoon to take a bean-sized fresh stool containing blood and mucus, taking care not to get urine on it.
