Each disposable Cervi-Collect Sample Collection Kit contains the following:
Cervical brush
Transport Tube: 2.5ml sample
Transport Buffer

For domestic or international shipments, samples should be packaged and labelled in accordance with applicable state, federal and international regulations. Transport of clinical, diagnostic or biological samples is covered.
It is recommended that each transport tube be placed in a separate sealable bag prior to shipping.

Store unopened Cervi-Collect Sample Collection Kits at 15°C to 30°C until expiration.
After collection and transport, store transport tubes at 2°C to 30°C for up to 14 days. For longer storage, store samples at or below -10°C for up to 90 days.
Women can collect a sample from the upper part of the vagina themselves in a clinic or at home. Healthcare providers can use visual aids (e.g., wall charts, posters, leaflets, models, or animated videos) to demonstrate these steps to women. In many cases, a self-collection kit (containing the sampling device, a tube with sample transport media, and an application form) is mailed to the woman. The kit also includes a leaflet that describes the self-collection process step-by-step.
