Sample Preservation Solution
Can be used for the preservation of samples for tissue and cytopathological analysis.
Main Ingredients:
Sample Preservation Solution is composed of potassium chloride, magnesium chloride, trimethylolamine methane, anticoagulant and ethanol.
Test Principle:
Potassium and magnesium ions provide cells with the required nutrient environment, anticoagulant can chelate the heavy metal ions introduced in the solvent to prevent cell coagulation, and the suitable buffer can maximally maintain the morphological integrity of the cells, so that they can be fully suspended and dispersed.
Sample storage conditions:
The product should be kept airtight, avoiding high temperatures and bright direct light. It should be used in a clean and hygienic environment, avoiding contamination and at a suitable temperature.
How to use the sample preservation tube
Before sampling, mark the relevant sample information on the label of the sampling tube.
Sample with a swab (or sampler).
After sampling, quickly place the sampling swab into the sampling tube containing the sample preservation solution, break the part above the sampling tube (or put the sample collected by the collector into the sampling tube containing the sample preservation solution and mix it well), and screw the cap on tightly.
Precautions for using virus preservation tubes
This product is intended for in vitro diagnostic use only.
After collecting a sample with a sampling swab, the head of the swab should be completely immersed in the sample preservation solution to maximise cell retention.
If the amount of cells is found to be low during preparation, the sample volume can be increased appropriately
The collected sample must be fresh and fixed in time to avoid cell autolysis.
Note: This sample preservation solution is for in vitro diagnostic use, and should not be used for internal or external use in humans or animals. If swallowed, it may lead to serious incidents; it is irritating to eyes and skin, if accidentally splashed into the eyes, flush with water. Ventilation should be maintained during use.
Storage conditions and expiry date:
Temperature 15℃~30℃;
Relative humidity <85%RH.
Product shelf life: 3 years
Sample Preservation Tubes Product Performance Indicators
The volume of each sample preservation solution is 0.2ml/0.3ml/0.5ml/0.6ml/0.8ml/1ml/2ml/3ml/5ml/100ml.
The pH of the sample preservation solution should be in the range of 7.0 to 7.6.
Take tissue samples and place them in the sample preservation solution, the cell morphology should be intact without obvious shrinkage, swelling.
