Types of Fecal Collection Kits

Plastic Cup – type: Usually for single – use, with capacities ranging from 5ml, 10ml, 15ml, 20ml, 30ml, 40ml, 50ml to 60ml, etc. The cup lids can be either screw – on or press – on types. Some cups come with a sampling spoon inside for convenient collection of fecal samples, suitable for various fecal examinations, such as fecal occult blood tests and bacterial cultures.
Sampling Tube – type: Generally, it is a slender tube made of plastic or glass. Some have scales for accurately controlling the collection amount. General Adult – type: The design conforms to the usage habits of adults. The size, shape of the collection container, and the equipment of tools are suitable for adults to operate. It can be widely used in hospitals, physical examination centers, and other places for fecal examinations of ordinary adults.
Children – type: Considering the physiological characteristics and cooperation degree of children, the collection container is usually designed to be smaller and more lovely, possibly with some cartoon patterns, etc. to attract children’s attention and make them more willing to cooperate with the collection process. The tools are also relatively lighter and easier for children to use.
For Bed – ridden or Mobility – impaired People – type: For example, a disposable fecal drainage kit, which includes components such as a fecal drainage tube and a collection bag. Feces can be drained into the collection bag through the drainage tube without the patient needing to get up and go to the toilet for collection. It is suitable for bed – ridden, disabled, or mobility – impaired people, facilitating medical staff to collect fecal samples beside the bed.

Conventional – type: It only has the basic function of fecal collection, consisting of a collection container and simple sampling tools, and can meet the general requirements of fecal examinations, such as routine fecal examinations and occult blood tests.
Multi – functional – type: Besides the collection function, it has other features. For example, some fecal collection kits come with a sample preservation solution inside, which can maintain the activity and stability of fecal samples, prolong the storage time of samples, and ensure the accuracy of test results. Some collection kits are equipped with a filtering device, which can filter feces during the collection process to remove impurities or excess water, improving the accuracy and reliability of tests.

3D Three – dimensional Toilet Seat Cover – type: This is a fully – wrapped toilet seat cover. Through special designs, such as the structures of the main cover, bellows, and reinforcing rings, feces can be directly collected during defecation, avoiding contact between feces and the toilet bowl, reducing the risk of contamination, and facilitating medical staff to extract samples later. It is suitable for some special test or research scenarios and places with high hygiene requirements.
