Canine Adenovirus TypeⅡ Antigen Test Kit (CAVⅡ-Ag)

Class Product news 10

Canine adenovirus type II antigen kit is used to detect canine adenovirus type II antigen in canine ocular, nasal and oral secretions, and is used for screening and auxiliary diagnosis of canine adenovirus type II infection.
Canine adenovirus disease is an infectious viral hepatitis or respiratory infection caused by canine adenovirus, which is the most pathogenic virus in the genus Adenovirus of mammals, and has two subtypes: type I and type II. Canine Adenovirus Type II (CAV II) belongs to the genus Adenovirus and can cause infectious cushion bronchitis and pneumonia symptoms in dogs, characterized by persistent high fever, cough, plasma to mucous rhinorrhea, tonsillitis, laryngotracheitis and pneumonia. Carrier dogs and sick dogs are the infectious source of the disease, and dogs can carry the virus for a long time after infection. Through the aerosol through the respiratory tract, dogs of all ages can be infected, and commonly in puppies, especially just weaned puppies are most likely to develop, may cause death.
Principle of reaction

Canine Adenovirus Type II Antigen Test Kit is a rapid immunochromatographic technique for the detection of canine adenovirus type II antigen in canine ocular, nasal and oral secretions. After the diluted sample is dropped into the spiking well, if CAV II antigen is present in the sample, it will specifically bind to the colloidal gold-labeled recombinant protein, forming a complex that moves together along the chromatographic membrane and is captured by the CAV Ⅱ antibody encapsulated on the membrane, which will be displayed as a burgundy line on the detection line (T). If there is no CAV II antigen in the sample, no visible line will form at the T position. This C line should be colored regardless of negative or positive results, otherwise the result is judged invalid.

Detection method】

Before use, you need to return the test card and dilution solution to room temperature and read the instructions of the kit carefully.
Collect a sample of canine eye, nose and mouth secretion with a disposable cotton swab, put it into the dilution solution and mix thoroughly, remove the swab, tighten the cap, mix upside down and leave it for 1 minute.
Tear open the aluminum foil pouch of the test card, take out the test card and put it on a flat, clean countertop.
Pipette 3 drops (approx. 80 μL) of the diluted sample into the spiked hole of the test card and wait for the result.
Wait 10-15 minutes at room temperature for the test result to be read; results after 20 minutes are invalid.
Note: The reading time is carried out at room temperature 15-30℃, if the temperature is lower than 15℃, the reading time should be extended appropriately; if the temperature is higher than 30℃, the reading time should be shortened appropriately.
