Non-inactivated virus sampling tubes

Virus Sampling Tube (VTM) (Model: CY-B-F005) is used for the collection of new coronavirus, influenza virus, hand, foot and mouth, measles and rubella, norovirus, rotavirus and related samples, short time storage and transportation at room temperature as well as long time preservation in -70℃ refrigerator or liquid nitrogen environment.
It is used for sampling and transportation of clinical new coronavirus, influenza, avian influenza (e.g. H7N9), hand, foot and mouth, measles, noro, rotavirus specimens as well as mycoplasma, ureaplasma, chlamydia specimens.
Preservation and transportation of viruses and related samples under refrigeration (2~8℃) within 48 hours.
Long-term preservation of viruses and related samples at -70℃ or in liquid nitrogen.

Virus Sampling Tubes (VTM) Main Ingredients
On the basis of Hank’s, potassium chloride, magnesium chloride and calcium chloride are added to provide essential nutrient ions for the pathogenic bacteria to make them more specialized and longer preserved, preserving the integrity of the pathogenic bacteria morphology to a greater extent and increasing the extraction rate of the pathogenic bacteria.
Sampling swabs
Recommended use of flocked swabs, nylon flocking on microbes, viruses, non-toxic effect, and does not contain RNAase, DNA enzyme, can maximize the collection and release of viral samples, to ensure the accuracy of PCR test results. The flocked swab rod is made of ABS, with a unique breakable design, which does not produce tiny debris in the process of breaking.
Virus Sampling Tubes
The tube body and cap are made of polypropylene, which will not be deformed at high temperature and high pressure (121℃, 15min), and will not become brittle at low temperature (-80℃). Resistant to static compression and dynamic impact. Conical bottom design, resistant to centrifugation and shock. Contain sample preservation liquid for sample release and preservation, preventing leakage. Convenient to elute and put the virus into the sample preservation liquid when more viruses. Sampling tubes are categorized by volume: 10 mL, 7 mL and 5 mL.
Packaging
The Virus Sampling Kit is packaged in the internationally accepted medical dialysis paper paper-plastic packaging (swabs are individually packaged for sterilization).
Virus Sampling Tube (VTM) Usage
Open the paper-plastic package from the tear
Remove the swab to the target site for sampling.
Immerse the sampled swab in the preservation solution inside the tube.
Break the end of the swab at the break and discard it.
Tighten the cap and shake the tube several times to complete the sample.
Place the tube in a biosafety bag and seal for transportation.
