Usage Method

• Preparation before Sampling: The sampler needs to fill in the detailed information of the person being sampled on the front and back of the collection card. Be careful not to open the collection card when writing to prevent contamination of the sample; the person being sampled needs to rinse their mouth with clean water to keep the oral cavity clean.
• Sampling Operation: Use an oral collection swab, such as a swab made of medical sponge, to extend into the oral cavity and repeatedly wipe the inside of the oral buccal mucosa 5-10 times, and then repeatedly wipe the inside of the other oral buccal mucosa 5-10 times, ensuring that the oral swab is fully wetted and using different sides of the oral swab; there is also a non-transferable oral cell collection device, which can hold the support plate and extend the collection part into the oral cavity of the person being sampled, and repeatedly wipe on the oral buccal mucosa for not less than 5 times.
• Sample Transfer: Place the oral swab at the ring of the pink oral cell collection card, hold the handle of the oral swab and press hard for 10 seconds, then grind and rotate it 3 times in place to change the collection area from pink to white to transfer the sample; for the non-transferable collection device, just separate the support plate from the collection card after collection.
• Drying and Preservation: After sampling, dry naturally for 5-10 minutes, then put it in a file bag and store it in a cool, ventilated, and dry place.
