Effects of huachenyang flocking swabs and composite nano cotton swabs on DNA extraction from microbial samples：

① Methods three kinds of carriers (glass, slotting knife and drawer handle) were selected for disinfection, and the trace DNA samples on the carrier surface were simulated.

② The DNA on the carrier was extracted with the flocking swab and the composite nano cotton swab respectively.

③ The number of STR genotypes, the number of alleles lost and the area of peak height were used as the comparison indexes of extraction effect.

Result：

*Five microdna samples were successfully detected in huachenyang flocking swab group, and 4 samples were detected effectively;

*Nine microdna samples were detected effectively in the composite nanocotton swab group;

*The number of allele loss in the cotton swab extraction group was significantly more than that in huachenyang Elaine group, and the peak height area was significantly lower than that in huachenyang group.

Conclusion：

*In this study, the effect of Zhonghua Chenyang flocking swab on DNA extraction of fingerprints on glass surface, exfoliated cells on cutting surface and cells on drawer handle surface was significantly better than that of composite nano cotton swabs.
