iClean® Viral Transport System (VTM-RT)

iClean® Viral Transport System (VTM-RT) is intended for the collection, storage, & transport of
clinical specimens containing viruses(including Monkeypox & Covid-19), chlamydiae,
mycoplasma, or ureaplasma from the
collection site to the testing laboratory.
It provides swabs for specimen collection and labeled screw-cap tubes containing Viral Transport
Medium (VTM) for culture,storage, and transport of biological specimen.

for storage and transporting biological specimen

VTM for specimen media:
Synthetic fiber swab
Down stream application:

• Culture-all viruses, chlamydia, mycoplasma andureaplasma
• PCR,RT-PCR
  for specimen collection
  Option 1 : flocked nylon ber tip swab with molded break point
  Other options: rayon,polyester, dacron tip with rigid plastic shaft
  *Shelflflife:12 months(store 2-30℃,dry).
  *Inactivate VTM PH 7.0-7.8 Activate
  VTM PH 7.2-7.8
  *Phenol red to indicate pH.
  *It is recommended that specimen be
  refrigerated at 2-8℃ or kept on wet ice
  following collection and while in transit
