iClean® saliva swab collection kit CY-93050R-TS is intended for specimen self-collection and
stabilization of DNA or RNA from the samples.
Saliva swab collection kit is mainly applied to the following scope:
Medical testing: used to collect saliva samples for diagnostic testing of various diseases, such as new coronavirus testing.
Scientific research experiment: in the field of scientific research, it is used to collect saliva samples for related research.

The following are the steps for proper sample collection using the Saliva Swab Collection Kit:
Preparation: Open the saliva swab collection kit and check that the swabs, preservation solution, etc. are complete and in good condition.
Saliva collection: After rinsing the mouth with water, try to gather as much saliva as possible in the front of the mouth.
Collection process: Insert the swab slowly into the mouth and gently rotate and wipe the swab several times on both sides of the inner wall of the mouth and the root of the tongue to obtain a sufficient saliva sample.
Placement in preservation solution: The head of the swab with saliva collected is broken off and placed in the preservation solution to ensure that the sample is well immersed in the preservation solution.
Seal for preservation: Seal the preservation tube containing the sample, label it, and store and transport it as required.
