Amorphosome Antibody Detection Reagent Product Description

Amastigote Antibody Test is designed to detect amastigote antibodies in whole blood or serum of dogs and cats, and is used to screen and assist in the diagnosis of amastigote disease in dogs and cats. Anaplasmosis is a tick-mediated zoonosis, the pathogen is phagocytic anaplasmosis. Anaplasma (ANA) is a Gram-negative, non-motile, specialized intracellular parasitic bacterium belonging to the family Anaplasmataceae, which are polymorphic bacteria, generally coccoid or oval in shape. Anaplasmosis occurs worldwide in a large number of mammals; dogs, cats, and humans are incidental hosts, and most infections are mild or even asymptomatic. When the tick transmits the pathogen to the animal, the anamorph typically infects granulocytes, usually peripheral blood neutrophils, and the anamorph binds to the surface receptors of the granulocytes, with fever with leukocyte thrombocytopenia and multiple organ impairment as the primary clinical manifestations.
[Reaction Principle

Amorphophore Antibody Test Kit is a rapid immunochromatographic technique for the detection of amorphophore antibodies in whole blood or serum of dogs and cats. After the diluted sample is dropped into the spiked well, if ANA antibody is present in the sample, it will specifically bind to the colloidal gold-labeled recombinant protein, forming a complex that moves together along the chromatographic membrane and is captured by the ANA antigen encapsulated on the membrane, displaying a burgundy line on the detection line (T). If there is no ANA antibody in the sample, no visible line will form at the T position. This C line should be colored regardless of negative or positive results, otherwise the result is judged invalid.

How to use Amorphophallic Antibody Detection Kit

[Sample Requirements

This kit is only suitable for testing whole blood or serum samples from dogs and cats.
The test sample is collected fresh and put into the dilution solution immediately, and the diluted sample should be tested as soon as possible within 1 hour.
If the sample can not be tested in time, it can be stored at 2-8℃ for 24 hours and -20℃ for 1 month.
[Detection method

Before use, it is necessary to return the test card and dilution solution to room temperature and read the instructions of the kit carefully.
Use whole blood samples of dogs and cats, and let it stand for 30 minutes to analyze or separate serum and plasma by centrifugation for spare.
Tear open the foil pouch of the test card, take out the test card, and place it on a flat, clean countertop.
Using a pipette, add 2 drops of whole blood or serum to the sample well, then add 1 drop of diluent to start the timer and wait for results.
Wait 10-15 minutes at room temperature for the test result to be read; results after 20 minutes are invalid.
Note: The reading time is performed at room temperature 15-30°C. If the temperature is lower than 15°C, the reading time should be extended appropriately; if the temperature is higher than 30°C, the reading time should be shortened appropriately.
