Canine Ehrlichiosis Antibody Test Kit is used to detect Canine Ehrlichiosis antibody in canine whole blood or serum, for Canine Ehrlichiosis infection screening, auxiliary diagnosis and so on.
Canine Ehrlichiosis (Canine Ehrlichiosis) is a canine septicemia caused by the infection of canine Ehrlichiosis (E. canis) by cattle ticks, the clinical manifestations of vomiting, jaundice, lethargy, most of the organs plasma cell infiltration, non-regenerative anemia and other characteristics. Canine Ehrlichia belongs to the genus Ehrlichia in the family Rickettsiaceae, and is a specialized intracellular parasitic Gram-negative cocci, presenting a variety of morphologies such as round, elliptical, bobbin-shaped, or rod-shaped. The disease mainly occurs in tropical and subtropical areas, ticks infected by ingesting blood cells of infected dogs, the bacterial ticks in sucking the blood of susceptible dogs, Ehrlichia accompanied by the tick’s saliva into the body of the dog, parasitized in the leukocytes and platelets, to the dictyostelium way of growth and reproduction. Infected dogs are often accompanied by other viruses, and the mortality rate of puppies is higher than that of adult dogs. Sick dogs should be isolated and treated in time.
Principle of reaction

Canine Ehrlichia antibody test kit adopts rapid immunochromatographic technique to detect Canine Ehrlichia antibody in canine whole blood or serum. After the diluted sample is dropped into the spiked well, if EHR antibody is present in the sample, it will bind specifically to the colloidal gold-labeled recombinant protein, forming a complex that moves together along the chromatographic membrane and is captured by the EHR antigen encapsulated on the membrane, displaying a burgundy line on the detection line (T). If there is no EHR antibody in the sample, no visible line will form at the T position. This C line should be colored regardless of negative or positive results, otherwise the result is judged invalid.

How to use Lyme spirochete antibody test kit

[Sample Requirements

This kit is only suitable for testing whole blood, serum or plasma samples from dogs and cats.
The test sample is collected fresh and put into the dilution solution immediately, and the diluted sample should be tested as soon as possible within 1 hour.
If the sample can not be tested in time, it can be stored at 2-8℃ for 24 hours and -20℃ for 1 month.
[Detection method

Before use, it is necessary to return the test card and dilution solution to room temperature and read the instructions of the kit carefully.
Use whole blood samples of dogs and cats, and let it stand for 30 minutes to analyze or separate serum and plasma by centrifugation for spare.
Tear open the foil pouch of the test card, take out the test card, and place it on a flat, clean countertop.
Using a pipette, add 2 drops of whole blood or serum to the sample well, then add 1 drop of diluent to start the timer and wait for results.
Wait 10-15 minutes at room temperature for the test result to be read; results after 20 minutes are invalid.
Note: The reading time is performed at room temperature 15-30°C. If the temperature is lower than 15°C, the reading time should be extended appropriately; if the temperature is higher than 30°C, the reading time should be shortened appropriately.
